Rachael provides piano and keyboard tuition to learners of all ages.

For over 20 years, Rachael has been inspiring students in music education, from pre-schoolers through to adults and retirees. Her focus is on fostering a love of music across all styles, and she teaches beginners through to AMEB grade 7 from a wide range of materials so that students can enjoy learning to play through the music they love, from contemporary through classical genres.
A thorough training in theory, music reading and aural development is included as part of lessons, and students who wish to sit AMEB exams in Piano or Theory are supported to prepare to the best of their ability to achieve their musical goals. Rachael also provides accompaniment services to instrumentalists/vocalists attending exams. "Rachael has provided piano lessons for our children for the last 15 years! Both our son and daughter commenced the Yamaha Programme small groups with Rachael and then have then moved on to private tuition. Rachel's strength is her kind, encouraging and patient manner with the children, while instilling a lifelong love of music. Both children have gone on to a second and even third instruments, in the case of our son, and have found them quite easy after such a good grounding in piano. She has also worked with both children extensively on their theory and has even acted as an accompanist for our son's AMEB Saxophone Exam. We have really appreciated Rachael's attention to gearing lessons to the needs of the children, going out of her way to find pieces that would interest them. A great teacher!"
